I am drawn to the relationship between the four boys who have worn the Robin costume and so have started my own series entitled, "Sons of the Bat." It focuses on their relationships... or more correctly, Dick's central role in the Batfamily. The reading order for this series is different to the writing order. I started plotting “His Boys” first, but as I developed the story, ideas assaulted me for what happened before and likely after and so, “His Boys” is far from the first in the series. When Oracle is unable to contact Dick and fears for his safety, Red Hood may well be the only person who can get to him in time… but why should Jason even consider responding to the call for help? Sons of the Bat: Story Two I've Got Your Back SUMMARY:   Following the events of “Momentary Lapse of Judgement”, Dick Grayson’s determination to save Jason from himself reaches new heights… risking not only his recovery after surgery, but defying direct orders from Batman to connect with Todd so he can show his lost brother he isn’t on his own. Another steppingstone towards the reconciliation that takes place in “His Boys”. Sons of the Bat: Story Six His Boys SUMMARY:   Dick finally convinces Jason to attempt a reconciliation with his family, but the evening does not go quite to plan when professional kidnappers capture Bruce Wayne’s four sons. The boys are forced to work together to get out of the situation alive with their secret identities intact… all the while Jason finds himself confronting his see-sawing and conflicting emotions toward Dick.
